Quadrupled Impact: Co-Branded Supply Chain Campaign Boosts Four Clients at Once
As a strategic marketing partner of four solar supply chain clients, twentytwo and brand created a co-branded experience to showcase the largest solar landfill project in North America.
Company Overview
CEP Renewables has deep landfill development expertise. One of its recently completed landfill solar projects is the 25.6 MW Mount Olive, New Jersey project, North America’s largest landfill solar project to date. The Town of Mount Olive selected CEP to redevelop the site into a revenue-generating, solar energy asset due to its extensive landfill solar experience combined with its over 100 MW of solar projects completed in New Jersey.
CEP selected CS Energy to design and build the project. CS Energy leveraged their strong relationships with Terrasmart, who provided the ballasted mounting solution, and Lindsay Precast, who provided the solar skids.
Brand Challenge
There are over 10,000 closed landfills in the U.S., and it has been estimated that closed landfills could host more than 60 GW of solar capacity - enough to power 7.8 million homes. To spur industry movement and showcase success, CEP wanted to highlight its expertise and announce the completion of its landfill-to-solar project to drive broad awareness and showcase its contributions to innovation.

As a leading full-service renewable energy marketing team, twentytwo & brand developed and executed a seamless, co-branded marketing campaign that included communications and content strategies highlighting Mount Olive’s success.
Telling a cohesive story across all four partners included a co-branded press release and case study that showcased each company’s supply chain contributions. This four-pronged story garnered media attention and market impact that couldn’t have been achieved if any of the providers had told its story in isolation.
This project in New Jersey allowed the Mount Olive township to recoup $2.3 million in taxes while transforming a former 65-acre Superfund site into a clean, revenue-generating asset.
